For the past forty-eight years I have had the great pleasure of planning, designing, and producing weddings and corporate events. I have been very fortunate to have a job I loved going to each day which allowed me the great satisfaction of bringing the visions of most important day in people's lives to fruition. I didn't think it could get any better until in the summer of 2012 I was asked by one of my wedding couples to become a wedding officiant in order to perform their wedding ceremony. After much coaxing I found American Marriage Ministries. I became an Ordained Minister. I was so emotionally moved by being the person that joined them together in marriage that I knew that day was the beginning of the next phase in my wonderful career.
I have performed numerous diverse wedding ceremonies since becoming ordained. It is by far, the most rewarding feeling I have achieved in my forty-eight year long career in the wedding industry. It is now become my sole dedication.

My career started at sixteen working in a flower shop, where I set up weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs and small corporate events. I could never have imagined at that time it would become my life-long career. Over the years I began to learn floral design and flower shop management. I then became the manager of the largest wedding floral shop in the area providing flowers for thirty to fifty weddings per week. I knew then that planning weddings had become a passion. I opened my own Flower Shop in West Bloomfield Michigan in the 1980’s and did both retail floral and wedding and event design.  My ambition for more was not yet satisfied so I decided to go to work for one of my clients who was a corporate event planner designing and producing corporate events. After eight very successful years of producing major events, I incorporated MPE Event Productions, an event design, planning, and production company of my own.
After ten years I started to think about a retirement exit plan and in 2011 merged MPE into Chair Covers and Linens where we created a new division, Top That Event! After designing and producing some of the most incredible events of my life I have finally transitioned into my most rewarding final scene of the wedding industry.

I am truly overwhelmed by the fact that I am the one who is responsible for joining two people in a union that will span a lifetime. I have officiated weddings from the beaches of Florida to the quaintest chapels and Venues in Southeastern Michigan. I contour each wedding to what you want for your special day.
To me, It is truly fitting that the most important part of a wedding is now my responsibility. I could not be more honored to accept that responsibility.

For your true love ways,

Mark P. Ephraim
